Privacy Policy

Garage Master Pro is garage management software provided at garagemasterpro.com. You can reach us at info@garagemasterpro.com with any question about this policy or your data.

We collect information in three ways:

• Account and application information you give us directly: your name, email address, chosen username, password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text), and the business details you submit when applying for access — trading name, contact details, address and Eircode/postcode, and the size of your garage.
• Customer and vehicle data that you or your staff enter into the app while running your garage — customer contact details, vehicle registrations and service history, quotations, invoices and payment records. This data belongs to your garage; we process it on your behalf so the app can function, not for our own purposes.
• Usage information collected automatically, such as sign-in timestamps, so garage owners can see how actively their staff are using the diary, invoicing and other features.

• To provide, maintain and secure the app you're using.
• To review new garage applications and let you know whether you've been approved.
• To send transactional emails you or your customers are expecting — invoice and quotation emails, password resets, and application/approval notifications.
• To respond when you contact us for support.
• To keep the service reliable and secure, including diagnosing technical issues.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising. Garage Master Pro does not currently include any analytics or advertising trackers.

We use a small number of service providers to run Garage Master Pro, and only share what each one needs to do its job:

• A database hosting provider, to store your account and garage data on infrastructure located in the EU/UK.
• An email delivery provider (Resend), to send the transactional emails described above.
• Our application hosting provider (Vercel), which serves the app itself.

We don't share your data with any other third party, except where required by law.

We keep your account and garage data for as long as your account is active, so your job, quotation and invoice history stays intact. If you close your account, contact us and we'll delete your data within a reasonable period, except where we're required to keep records for longer (for example, financial records for tax purposes).

Passwords are hashed, not stored in plain text. Access to the accounting section and the admin panel is separately password-protected. We use industry-standard practices to protect data in transit and at rest, but no system is completely risk-free — if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us straight away.

If you're in the UK or EU, you have rights under GDPR (and equivalent UK data protection law) over your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or delete it, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, email info@garagemasterpro.com.

If your garage stores your customers' personal data in Garage Master Pro, your garage is the data controller for that information and is responsible for handling requests from its own customers. We act as a processor on your behalf.

We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember settings like whether the sidebar is collapsed. We don't use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.

We may update this policy as the app changes. If we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
